Music news

Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree ”, a Christmas classic, was first released when Brenda Lee was just 13 years old.

This is a lovely Christmas present… 65 years later! Monday, the classic “ Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree » by Brenda Lee rose to first place on the Billboard Hot 100. This distinction comes 65 years after the song’s first release, when the singer was only 13 years old, thus breaking the record for the longest rise to first place.

With this distinction, Lee also surpassed the 25-year gap between the release of ” All I Want for Christmas Is You » by Mariah Carey in 1994 and her rise to the top in 2019.
