This is a first in the history of competition! A major show will be organized during the half-time of the Football World Cup final, scheduled for July 19, 2026 in New York. Like the Super Bowl, several artists will perform at Metlife Stadium during an exceptional show.

“”It will be a historic moment for the FIFA World Cup, and this show will be up to the largest sporting event in the world“Said on Instagram Gianni Infantino, the president of the International Football Federation.

To support him in the organization, FIFA can count on the help of Chris Martin, the leader of Coldplay, and Phil Harvey, the manager of the British group. “”I would like to thank Chris Martin and Phil Harvey de Coldplay, who will work with us to finalize the list of artists who will perform during the show of half-time, as well as Times Square“Added Gianni Infantino.

For the moment, no artist name has been revealed. It also remains to be seen whether this show will result in an extension of the half-time break beyond fifteen conventional minutes.
